My role as your postpartum doula is to support you and your family up to three months after the arrival of your new baby. Postpartum support includes:

  • Providing newborn care, education, and tips

  • Daytime support- I will care for baby while you rest, eat, shower, heal, and take some hands-free moments to yourself

  • Overnight support- I will care for baby while you catch up on some sleep and will either bring baby to you for feedings, or I can bottle feed

  • Helping you establish routines with your new baby (sleep, feeding, wake time)

  • Baby soothing techniques

  • Baby wearing/swaddling

  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks, as well as organizing meal delivery while I am there

  • Making sure you have everything you need to support your healing after birth

  • Infant feeding tips and support (breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and pumping)

  • Light nursery organization

  • Listening to your birth story and giving you the space to process

  • You will have access to all of my available resources for learning and baby wearing

  • I will help you gather any resources or external support you may need in the early days (pediatrician, lactation consultant…)
